Murtoa is Aboriginal for 'Home of the Lizard', and we have huge lizard sculptures in town to prove it. Lizards are totally inoffensive creatures, just like our friendly Murtoa residents, who also enjoy the lovely climate and clean air here too. You will find lizards all over the place.
