Stick Shed Cleaned for Big Weekend
September 19, 2013The Murtoa stick Shed got its annual clean-up today in readiness for the opening during Murtoa’s BIG Weekend event on 4, 5 & 6th October.
The Shire of Yarriambiack kindly donated the street sweeper to do the job and it is greatly appreciated by the organisers..
Resident pigeons also donate to the cause, but in a negative way unfortunately, such that a sweeping is required annually.
Murtoa can expect at least 1000 visitors to the Stick Shed on Saturday and Sunday with performers in the building on both days.
Crazy Daniel will do his thing at 1.30 on Saturday while Wimmera resident Elsbeth Ampt will entertain with her wonderful harp music at 10.30 and also at 1pm on the Sunday.
