Lola Cowie celebrates 35 years as caretaker at Murtoa Caravan Park

Last night the Murtoa Community acknowledged Lola Cowie’s 35 years as Caretaker at the Murtoa Caravan Park with a presentation from the Yarriambiack Shire Council and the Murtoa Progress Association.
Lola was joined by her children Alistair, Ailsa, Ewen, Lola, Peter and Ross who surprised her by their attendance. Remaining son Neil was absent due to work commitments.

Lola has retired from her position as Caretaker, but is still more than willing to chat with visitors about Murtoa and the bird life on Lake Marma and Rabl Park.
